Receive Advice and Therapy for Lower Back Pain problems.
LOWER BACK PAIN
The National institute for health and clinic excellence (NICE) recommends early management of non-specific lower back pain, this course is designed for people that have had back pain for more than 6 weeks and less than 12 months the majority of participants are on a referral basis (GP or other health care professional) I work very closely with a Physiotherapist who can assess your back and check the back pain course is right for you otherwise I can except referrals from your GP or your own health care professional.
As biomechanics coach with a special interest in lower back pain I offer a free consultation to assess whether you are suitable to be undertaking exercise with your lower back pain.
If you are suitable you can either book a 1:1 back pain course or a group course?
If you are not suitable I would recommend seeking health care professional (GP, physiotherapist, chiropractor or osteopath) for further advice and admittance to the course.
BACK PAIN COURSE
It is a brand new course designed to jump the gap between finishing treatment and joining a general class as most health care professionals advise" staying active, strengthening your core, losing weight (if appropriate) posture improvement and stretching" but general classes are not always appropriate for lower back pain suffers. As a sports therapist I have been working with lower back pain suffers for the last 15 years.
BENEFITS OF ATTENDING THE BACK PAIN COURSE
Being physically active is important for health and wellbeing and can help in the prevention and treatment of lower back pain, high blood pressure, asthma obesity and many more. Keeping active increases wellbeing, improves self-esteem, sleep and helps manage stress. It's also a great way of meeting new people also coping with back pain providing peer and professional support and also having fun.
